About College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ntotroso
The College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ntotroso (CoNM), formerly known as College of Nursing, Ntotroso, was established in 22nd February, 2014. The College is the brain child of the Omanhene of Ntotroso, Barima Twereku Ampem III and the Ntotroso Traditional Council that was conceived during the 2012 edition of Apomasu Festival of the chiefs and people of Ntotroso Traditional Area.
The College is affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, which provides oversight academic mentorship to ensure that we adhere strictly to quality standards. The College currently runs a three year diploma programmes in Registered General Nursing (RGN) and Registered Midwifery (RM), and plans are far advanced to add up other nursing programmes to augment the health needs of the community the College serves. Our students graduate with certificates awarded by KNUST.
The College and its programmes are fully accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC). Licensing to practice professionally after completion of training is offered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) of Ghana.
