The office of the Hospitality Manager exists at College of Nursing and Midwifery (CoNM), Ntotroso, to provide and prepare meals and related services to meet the mandatory nutritional standards. Our office helps people feel at home even when away from home. Caterer Responsibilities

The catering unit of CoNM performs the ensuing onuses:

• Ensuring that strict safety, hygiene, and health protocols are followed always.
• Arranging the delivery of food items.
• Preparing and serving dishes for students, staff and others on request.
• Preparing food in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Participating in training activities as required to develop colleagues.
• Interviewing, training and induction of new kitchen staff members.
• Overseeing and arranging clean-up crew staffing.
• Undertaking all catering activities within the Unit.
• Ensuring that smooth running of the office meets the needs of students.
• Planning menu in line with the number of meals.
• Managing food within the given budget, in conjunction with the Principal.
• Organizing, supervising and arranging catering services during special events.
• Encouraging healthy eating habits throughout the entire college day.
• Reporting breakdown of pieces of equipment, and maintenance requirements as requested.
• Assisting the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality.
• Setting up the equipment and utensils needed to effectively serve all food products.
• Serving and clearing dishware and ensuring that students dining needs are taken care of.
• Assisting other catering staff as needed to optimize the students dining experience.
• Reporting any unsafe condition, unsafe act, accidents and/or injuries to the Principal.
